The objective of this study was to evaluate the activity, toxicity, and long-term survival of patients with locally advanced unresectable squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (cisplatin, 5-fluorouracil [5-FU] and leucovorin) followed by conventional radiation therapy.
