The invention relates to an optical storage medium in form of a plate, wherein at least are stored with laser light of a readout wavelength in one of the surfaces information for reading, wherein according to the invention is at least one volume hologram structure on at least one surface provided, which has at least a reconstructing wavelength, wherein the reconstruction wave length of the different volume hologram structure and the readout wavelength. Alternatively, the invention provides that a volume hologram structure is provided with at least one reconstruction direction on at least one surface of the storage medium, which is different from the direction from which the information is read out.
