ULOGA FINANSIJSKOG SISTEMA U RAZVOJU NACIONALNE EKONOMIJE

In the national economies of developed countries, as well as in the national economy of Republika Srpska, the financial system plays an important role. Previous practical experiences show that confidence lies in the basis of the functioning of the financial system. If investors do not have the confidence to bring their financial means into the financial system of a country, it is inevitable that the economic performance will decline in that country. That is why the significance of the financial system for the functioning of the national economy and overall economic system of any economy is immeasurable. The role of the financial system in every national economy is reflected in the transfer of financial means, the smooth flow of financial assets among sectors, and the integration of macroeconomic categories. In the context of the above, the paper will evaluate to which extent the financial system through key elements (trust in official information, state institutions, financial markets, financial institutions and financial instruments), on which its confidence is based, contributes to achieving the goals of the national economy.
