Tecno-especies: la humanidad que se hace a sí misma y los desechables

espanolLa cultura popular sigue alimentando el imaginario colectivo con cosas, humanas y no humanas, en las que podriamos convertirnos o con las que podriamos vernos confrontados. Ademas de robots, otras figuras significativas de la ficcion popular que generaron imagenes son los seres humanos no humanos y los ciborgs, incorporadas a realidades socioculturales historicamente diversas. Los robots y la inteligencia artificial estan redefiniendo el orden natural y su estructura jerarquica. No es raro, pues el orden natural siempre fluye, moldeado por los nuevos descubrimientos cientificos, en especial la lectura del codigo genetico, que revela y redefine las relaciones entre las formas de vida. Sin embargo, por primera vez, se esta introduciendo una nueva especie artificial en los esquemas existentes y, por primera vez, parece hibridar el orden mundial natural antropocentrico. Besides robots, other significant tropes in popular fiction that generated images include non-human humans and cyborgs, wired into historically varying sociocultural realities. Robots and artificial intelligence are redefining the natural order and its hierarchical structure. This is not surprising, as natural order is always in flux, shaped by new scientific discoveries, especially the reading of the genetic code, that reveal and redefine relationships between life forms. However, for the first time, a new, artificial, species is being introduced into the existing diagrams, and, for the first time, it appears to hybridise the anthropocentric natural world order.
