Sodium MR Imaging of the Lumbar Intervertebral Disk at 7 T: Correlation with T2 Mapping and Modified Pfirrmann Score at 3 T—Preliminary Results
2012
Our results show that in vivo MR imaging of the human intervertebral disk with sodium imaging is feasible and can be performed at 7 T and suggest that sodium imaging and T2 mapping might help characterize different component changes, both of which relate to the Pfirrmann score.
