An Analysis of Operative Results on Late Deformities of Burnt Hands
1985
Between 1973 and 1981, 289 hands (225 cases) with late burn deformities were operated upon in our clinic. Satisfactory long term results were obtained in 196 hands (153 cases) (Figures 14.1-14.4). For further enchancement of the therapeutic effect, the relationship between the degrees and duration of deformities, ages of patients and survival rate of skin grafts to operative results has been reviewed, and is discussed here.
