State-of-the Art Electrical Machines for Modern Electric Vehicles

This paper will discuss the background of the global sudden interests’ change from the internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEVs) to the Electric vehicles (EVs). An over view of the existing EVs is also presented here along with their various types and contribution to the environment. The challenges face the design and productions of an EV’s motor have been pointed out along with the existing electric motors that are available in the current market along with their advantages and disadvantages.
