Method and device for supporting learning of language study

PURPOSE: To continuously execute sentence pattern exercise and applied exercise by using template information for learning language study containing a slot part with category information, and word information for showing a word having a cate gory which coincides with category information of the slot part. CONSTITUTION: A processing processor displays a learning menu (11), a learner is allowed to select the kind of learning and the kind of a notation (12), and in the case sentence pattern exercise is selected, a level of learning is selected, and a processing for displaying all sentence patterns of a lesson of its level is executed. For instance, when the beginner's class is selected (14), a variable (i) is initialized (15), the (i) value and the total number of the lesson of the selected level are compared (16), and all sentence patterns of an i-th lesson of the beginner's class are displayed (17). Subsequently, a number of a desired sentence pattern is selected from in the sentence patterns (20), a variable for counting the number of times for showing the number of times of exercise of the same sentence pattern is initialized (21), and the number of the sentence pattern is retrieved and outputted together with a word to be put into a slot (22).
