MANUFACTURE OF C$sup 14$ PROTEIN LAYERS FOR MEASURING RADIOACTIVITY AND DETERMINING THE SELF-ABSORPTION CURVE FOR C$sup 14$ PROTEINS

Discussion is given on working regulations for making even, fissure-free C/sup 14/ protein layers for measurement of radioactivity, self-absorption curves for two C/sup 14/ protein preparations with various specific actnvity, and a correction curve obtained from them for self-absorpttion losses. Actual experiences in regard to methodological details are also discussed. (auth)
