The invention relates to an automobile crash energy absorption box, comprising a flange and a shell. The automobile crash energy absorption box is characterized in that an energy absorption device is arranged in the shell; the energy absorption device comprises a push shaft, a cylinder, an energy absorption component I, an extrusion piece, a push board and an energy absorption component II; one end of the shell is welded and connected with the flange, and the other end of the shell is welded and connected with the end face of the push shaft; the energy absorption device is welded and connected with the flange through the cylinder. The automobile crash energy absorption box can be gradually deformed due to multiple structures, the energy absorption capability of the automobile crash energy absorption box is improved in a manner that the inner and outer multiple structures of the shell and the energy absorption device are deformed to absorb energy, safety of the automobile and people can be guaranteed even in crash at a higher speed, the automobile crash energy absorption box is made of an aluminum alloy material, thus the weight of the automobile crash energy absorption box is decreased, and symmetrical and regular structures are adopted in consideration of structural machinability of the automobile crash energy absorption box, so that the manufacturing and installation are convenient.
