MODELING AND ANALYSIS OF A SIX-PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR DRIVE WITH HARMONIC INJECTION FOR TORQUE-DENSITY IMPROVEMENT

In this paper is presented the modeling and analysis of a six-phase induction machine consideringthe space harmonic components. It is shown that the harmonic injection in phase voltages provides an increasein torque, therefore, improving the torque density of the drive system. It is presented the machine dynamicalmodel, the steady state analysis and experimental results.
