The invention discloses a control system for improving the operation environment of substation equipment, comprising an air intake, an intelligent ventilation regulator, an air outlet, an SF6 (sulfur hexafluoride) overflow port, a temperature sensor and an intelligent control unit, wherein the air inlet and the air outlet are arranged on the wall surface of the same side, the air outlet is higher than the air inlet, and the SF6 overflow port is arranged on the bottom of the wall surface at one side close to the air outlet. According to the control system, air flows in an indoor substation, an underground substation and other similar sealed space environments are effectively organized, mixed flow and turbulence generated by the ventilation of the common fan can be avoided, the natural convection form for the air flow to cover a heat source body through the lower part of a heating element from bottom to top can be furthest kept, and the aerated cooling efficiency of the surface of the heat source body is greatly improved.
