Van ve Yöresi İçme Sularinda Koliform ve E. coli Araştirilmasi

This study was performed to investigate source and drinking waters in term of coliform group and Escherichia coli of Van and province. 24 natural springs and 176 public drinking water supply distribution sys- tems a total of 200 samples were collected. The membrane filter (MF) method were used for detection and enu- meration of coliform bacteria and E. coli in drinking water. Coliforms and E. coli in drinking water samples collected from different sources were found in the rate 17.5 % and 10 % respectively.
