Riscos ocupacionais e acidentes de trabalho em profissionais de enfermagem no ambiente hospitalar Occupational risks and accidents at work in nursing professionals in hospital environment

The nursing team carries through activities that demand great physical approach with the patient. They manipulate perforate cutting materials contaminated by blood and corporal fluids, they also share a loaded pain environment and suffering dealing with death at all times. Situations like these expose these professionals to some factors of risks that may compromise their health and easy the industrial accident accurrence. This research objectified to make a bibliographical survey on the accidents involving the nursing team. It refers to a bibliographical research, where the Health Virtual Library in LILACS database was used as a research source. A survey of the scientific production, where 23 articles had been found. From these, 10 had been analyzed and the rest were excluded because they are dealing with other professional categories. The results had demonstrated that the majority of the accident occurred with the nursing team happened with perforate cutting materials, involving the nurse aid mainly. The research evidenced a great number of industrial accident involving the nursing team, which is an essential category in the hospital assistance. This way, it is highlighted the necessity of a bigger attention to these workers, alming to preserve their health and integrity thus favoring the life quality in their work.
