Sucker rod and manufacturing method thereof

The invention discloses a sucker rod and a manufacturing method thereof. The sucker rod comprises an upper joint, a body and a lower joint; a first matching portion is arranged on the outer surface of the upper joint, and can be connected with an unthreaded rod through a connecting piece; the body is a column capable of extending in the longitudinal direction and is provided with a first end and a second end which are opposite to each other; the first end is fixed with the upper joint; the second end is fixed with the lower joint; a magnesia-zirconia alloy coating film layer is arranged on the outer surface of the body; and a second matching portion is arranged on the outer surface of the lower joint, and can be connected with an oil well pump through a connecting piece. By the sucker rod and the manufacturing method thereof, the sucker rod cannot be quickly corroded easily when used under an underground working condition of an oilfield, and is long in service life.
