Design of Intelligent Monitoring and Global Power Output System for Distributed Photovoltaic Generation Plants

The wide-area distributed photovoltaic (PV) power generation is greatly affected by meteorological and environmental factors, and accurate estimation of PV power output is currently a major problem. By arranging different types of sensors, meteorological information, power generation facility status information, power generation data and the like, can be obtained in quasi real time. These data are adopted in the calculation model of the PV power global output, and the estimated results can effectively solve this problem. Based on the architecture of wide-area distributed PV monitoring and global power output analysis system, and the functional requirements of the sensor layer, network layer, data layer and application layer in the system, we have developed data sampling module, established data model, built data warehouse, unified the communication protocol, realized data platform service and efficient data mining, and finally formed wide-area distributed PV generation monitoring analysis and global power output estimation system, which benefits the power dispatch.
