Background/Purpose Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) is cost-effective and has proven to reduce the mortality of low birth weight neonates (LBWs) in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), but its uptake is low in Sub-Saharan Africa where neonatal mortality is high.
