Investigation of Parallel Data Mining

With the explosive growth in the availability of various kinds of data and application of large-scale parallel computing in the data mining, the parallel data mining has been applied to many departments of the society. At the meantime, for some reasons, the process of data mining cannot be parallelized completely. It is significant to do research to achieve the aim. This paper analyzes the state of the art of the parallel data mining, presents the perspective of parallel data mining and points out the future work in this area.
