Matrix form indirect current control method of STATCOM (Static Synchronous Compensator)

The invention discloses a matrix form indirect current control method of a STATCOM (Static Synchronous Compensator). A linear mathematic model of the STATCOM is established according to a master circuit of the established STATCOM, and then a matrix form indirect current control strategy is designed according to the derived linear mathematic model of the STATCOM, wherein the control strategy solves a problem of difficulty in setting control parameters of the conventional indirect current control strategy. The matrix form indirect current control method overcomes the problem of difficulty in setting the control parameters in the conventional indirect current control method. In addition, an LQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator) method is applied to optimize a STATCOM system in a control parameter setting process.
