The progress of research and development of integrin inhibitors

Integrins are closely related to a variety of diseases,and have been confirmed to be promising drug targets.This paper summarizes integrin antagonists that have been approved by FDA and are still in clinical studies,shows their applications in the fields of anti-thrombus,anti-tumor,anti-rheumatoid arthritis,and anti-HIV infection,and also summarizes current research status of integrin antagonists in our country.In this way the research and development of integrin antagonists in new drug discovery are reviewed.
