Use of the ethanol test in the diagnosis of occupational diseases and alcoholism

1989
Pharmacokinetic indices of blood absorption of ethanol test-dose of 0.2 g/kg of the body weight from the gastrointestinal tract were distinctly lower among the workers exposed to organic solvents or lead, compared to the control group. Ethanol absorption constant was always significantly higher in patients with chronic alcoholism exposed to industrial toxic substances than in those having no contact with them. Language: ru
