Magnetically insulated transmission line oscillator

2014
The invention discloses a magnetically insulated transmission line oscillator. The oscillator is shaped in cylinder, an interior of the oscillator is formed by a cathode, an anode, a collector electrode and support rods, the anode is formed by an anode blade and an anode outer barrel, the anode blade is circularly shaped, an outer edge of the anode blade is integrally connected with the anode outer barrel, the anode penetrates the anode blade to be adjacent to the collector electrode, and the collector electrode is connected with the anode outer barrel via the support rods. A cathode base and an emitting unit can be machined integrally and can be mutually independent. Full-metal cathodes are adopted by the magnetically insulated transmission line oscillator. The magnetically insulated transmission line oscillator is low in interior outgassing rate and capable of working in a long time stably to generate gigawatt-level high-power microwave output, and can be well applied to high-power microwave systems running in static state vacuum or running at repeated frequency.
