Compounds; Quercetin-3’-O-rhamnoside (compound 2), Kaempfero-7-O-pcumaroil have been isolated from the dry leafs of Tibouchina ciliaris, joined other compounds like: Kaempferol (compound 1) and Ellagic Acid, their structures were elucidated by RMM, HPLC-DAD , and MS analysis, and by comparison with bibliographic data. Kaempferol showed a MIC (Minimum Inhibitory Concentration) of 512 µg/mL against Escherichia coli.
