Introduction: The emergency is a situation in which a pathological diagnosis and treatment must be carried out very quickly otherwise fatal, health view for life. Objective: To analyze the epidemiological, clinical and therapeutic profiles emergencies Ear, nose and throat (ENT) at Donka National Hospital. Methodology: This was a prospective study, descriptive type random sampling, a period of 3 months from 1 October to 31 December 2009 carried out in the ENT department and Neck Surgery-Facial Hospital National Donka (Conakry University Hospital). All patients registered, treated and followed for an emergency 0RL were included in study. Results: We collected 134 cases of emergency. The frequency of emergency ENT was 5.54%. We received 93 patients for the guard is 69.40% and the other 41 business hours or 30.60%. The 0-14 age group was the most represented 50%. Students-students constituted 39.5% of cases. The male was the most affected (59%). We recorded 82% of real emergencies. Foreign bodies and infectious diseases were the most common etiologies, respectively 58.1% and 17.1% of cases. Only 5.22% of our patients had been hospitalized, but 90.3% had received a surgical emergency. The evolution was favorable in 97% of patients and we recorded three cases of death of 2.2% of cases. Conclusion: ENT emergencies are common and diverse in both their clinical form and severity. Multidisciplinary collaboration and awareness will improve the early management of these emergencies can commit to more or less imminent life-threatening.
