Телевидение по мотивам реальности: от «Общества спектакля» к «Шоу-цивилизации»

Functioning of modern television as sociopolitical institution in the context of global informational process is examined in the article. The author shows transformation of TV as electronic media with the prevailing entertainment and manipulation trends. The author comes to the conclusion that the role of live-action principles of television functioning as communication analogue is becoming vitally important.
