The invention discloses a sprayer stability augmentation device and method for a multi-rotor-wing unmanned pesticide spraying machine. The sprayer stability augmentation device comprises a sprayer, a sprayer support, a microcontroller, an inertial measurement unit and a sprayer support rotation drive device. The sprayer and the inertial measurement unit are both fixed to the sprayer support. The microcontroller is electrically connected with the inertial measurement unit and further connected with the sprayer support rotation drive device used for driving the sprayer support to rotate. The sprayer support rotation drive device comprises a structure support, a transverse roller steering engine and a pitch axis steering engine. The method comprises the steps that the current transient acceleration and the angular speed of the sprayer are obtained, the current motion posture of the sprayer is obtained after filtering and posture resolving, and then the pointing direction of the sprayer is adjusted according to the posture. According to the sprayer stability augmentation device and method for the multi-rotor-wing unmanned pesticide spraying machine, the direction of the sprayer can be adjusted according to the operation posture, and influence on the pointing direction of the sprayer from the flying postures of a multi-rotor-wing craft can be reduced to the maximum extent, so that the pointing direction of the sprayer is stable.
