The invention relates to a casting system for casting a cylinder sleeve on a large diesel engine for a ship, which comprises an outer mold of the cylinder sleeve, an inner hole sand core and a gate sand core, wherein the inner hole sand core is arranged in a cavity in the middle of the outer mold arranged in a sand box; the cavity formed by the outer mold below a first parting surface and the inner hole sand core is a mold cavity of castings, and the cavity formed by the outer mold above the first parting surface and the inner hole sand core is a riser; a plurality of positioning grooves whichare symmetrically designed are formed at the top end of the inner hole sand core in a digging way; a groove corresponding to the positioning part of the inner hole sand core is arranged in the middleof the gate sand core; a gap is reserved between the inner edge of the groove and the circular outer edge of the positioning part to form a joint flash ingate; and an annular runner is arranged on the gate sand core and is communicated with the circular outer edge of the inner hole sand core. The casting of the invention thoroughly eliminates the product discard caused by bolt pouring and meltingdue to the adoption of the bolt positioning mode at present, obviously increases the box matching efficiency of the cylinder sleeve, and avoids the molten iron splashing phenomenon generated by otheringate modes.
