A management method of a non-volatile memory device and a non-volatile memory device with a processor performing the method are disclosed. According to the present invention, the management method of the non-volatile memory device relates to a method for generating a free block in which data is not recorded in the non-volatile memory including a first area with a cell storing data of one bit and a second area with a cell for storing data of two or more bits. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the non-volatile management method may assign the free block by copying the data from the selected block to the second area by selecting one or more blocks which belong to the first area based on the condition of the data stored in the first area by determining the generation condition of the free block by copying the data between the blocks in the first area.
