Abstract The objective of this study was to compare some reproductive traits of Alpine and Nubian goats under an intensive management system in a dry tropical environment. Goats were kept under confinement in half-covered pens and fed grass hay plus a commercial concentrate. Data were analyzed for kidding interval, prolificacy and gestation length.
