On the Function of Adverbs in Oral Chinese Teaching

Chinese oral grammar teaching is the focus of scholars; they have done different degrees of research and exploration of Chinese grammar teaching, put forward valuable opinions. From ancient times to now, many scholars have discussed the importance of oral grammar teaching from four aspects: Students' current situation of Chinese, the importance of grammar, examination content and students' lifelong benefit, and put forward the countermeasures from the theoretical point of view. Many people are against weakening the teaching of spoken Chinese grammar. They think that the weakening of oral grammar teaching is not conducive to the cultivation of good Chinese literacy of middle school students, but also is not conducive to improving the teaching effect of school Chinese and related disciplines. We should pay attention to the important role of oral grammar teaching. With the emergence of new adverbs of degree, the grammatical properties of the original adverbs of degree are also developing and many new functions appear. On the basis of both, modern Chinese has also produced many new constructions with degree adverbs. This paper mainly reviews the research status of modern Chinese adverbs in oral Chinese teaching, and briefly introduces the nature, characteristics, functions and categories of modern Chinese adverbs. It also analyzes and discusses the adverb errors in Chinese oral expression, tries to find out the reasons for the errors, and puts forward relevant teaching countermeasures.
