SINGLE CRYSTAL FOCUSING FOR SHORT-WAVE ROENTGEN QUANTOMETER

A ten-channel spectrometer for qualitative x-ray analysis in the short- wave region is described. A quartz crystal analyzer and an eleven-channel monitor are used in the instrument. The line spectra for Ge, Rb, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Pb, Ta, Th, and U were obtained using the instrument. The accuracy of the instrument is 5-- 10%. (C.E.S.)
