Representations of Semi-direct Products

In this chapter, we will examine some aspects of representations of semi-direct products, in particular for the case of the Jacobi group and its Lie algebra, as well as the case of \(N\rtimes K\), for N commutative. The latter case includes the Euclidean groups E(d), as well as the Poincare group which will come into play once we introduce special relativity.
