Alcohol and the benzodiazepines. The interaction between intravenous ethanol and chlordiazepoxide and diazepam

Large doses of chlordiazepoxide proved antagonistic to the soporific action of intravenous ethanol in healthy women undergoing minor surgery. Diazepam did not affect tolerance to alcohol.
