Methanol and ethyl acetate separating method

1999
A separation method of methyl alcohol and ethyl acetate is characterized by that the mixture formed from methyl alcohol and ethyl acetate (or containing water) is fed into an extractive distillation tower, water as extracting agent is fed into the extractive distillation tower from its top, the water is used to extract methyl alcohol, the methyl alcohol is taken out from the tower bottom, and themixture of ethyl acetate and water can be obtained from the tower top, then the distillate of tower top and the tower bottom liquid are respectively refined so as to obtain the ethyl acetate and methyl alcohol.
