Site Assessment Report and Corrective Action Plan for the Risk-Based Closure of the Former Military Gas Station (Facility 462). Volume 1

Abstract : A site investigation addressing soil and groundwater contaminated with fuel hydrocarbons at the Former Military Gas Station (Facility 462), Eaker Air Force Base (AFB), Arkansas, was conducted by Parsons Engineering Science, Inc. (Parsons ES). Field work was conducted to support completion of the corrective action plan (CAP) presented in this report in support of a risk-based remediation decision for the former Military Gas Station. Characterization field efforts for this investigation were conducted between November 1998 and June 1999. In addition, contaminated soils were excavated and replaced with clean fill material in July and August 1999.
