Inner dams in karst reservoir

2011
The utility model discloses inner dams in a karst reservoir, belonging to the field of construction engineering of tailing reservoirs (sludge reservoirs and red mud reservoirs) in karst regions, and aiming to solve the problem that the existing insidious karst possibly causes sludge leakage. Each inner dam in the karst reservoir comprises an inner dam body arranged in the karst reservoir, wherein the porosity of the inner dam body built by stones is not more than 22% and the dry density is not less than 2.1t/m ; the slope ratio of the two sides of the inner dam is 1:(1.4-1.6); anti-seepage layers are arranged on the two sides of the inner dam; and anti-seepage gullets are formed on the two sides of the bottom of the inner dam body and are filled with geomembranes and concrete. The inner dams have the following beneficial effects: the whole reservoir region is divided into a plurality of reservoir sections; the reservoir sections are mutually standby to reduce leakage, thus avoiding large-area pollution incidents and shutdown of ore-washing plants because the sludge reservoirs possibly leak at the initial production stage; and the inner dams can serve as the emergency measure of the whole engineering.
