The invention relates to a method for preparing plates or sections by recycling old cloth, old cloth is made into cloth slices or strips after being cleaned, the cloth strips are twisted and woven into ropes in a flat or twilling weaving mode, the ropes are used as weft yarn, and thin yarn, the cloth strips or the ropes are used as warp yarn; the weft yarn and the warp yarn are used for preparingslice-shaped fabric, the ropes are woven into the slice-shaped fabric in a weaving method of knitted structure, or the cloth slices are stacked to prepare the slice-shaped fabric in a stacking method;according to the mass ratio of 1-3:1-3, the prepared slice-shaped fabric and liquid thermosetting resin are taken, the liquid thermosetting resin penetrates through the slice-shaped fabric which is solidified at the room temperature, a standby material is obtained, or the layered film of the liquid thermosetting resin and the slice-shaped fabric are laminated to prepare the standby material; thestandby material is arranged in a mould, temperature insulation is carried out on the standby material at a certain temperature and under certain pressure, then annealing is carried out, and finally,plates or sections are made. The method sufficiently fully uses the mechanical property of fibers in the old cloth and improves the application value in the old cloth.
