This work vehicle periphery monitoring system comprises: a bend angle data acquisition unit that acquires bend angle data for a vehicle-front section and a vehicle-rear section; a captured image data acquisition unit that acquires captured images captured by a plurality of cameras; an overhead image composition unit that generates an overhead image by subjecting a plurality of sets of captured image data to image processing; a storage unit that stores a representative image of the work vehicle in association with each of a plurality of bend angle ranges for the vehicle-front section and the vehicle-rear section; a determination unit that determines which bend angle range the bend angle corresponds to among the plurality of bend angle ranges; a selection unit that selects the representative image associated with the bend angle range determined by the determination unit from among the plurality of representative images; and a display control unit that simultaneously displays the overhead image generated by the overhead image composition unit and the representative image selected by the selection unit on a display device.
