The invention provides a plunger assembly structure of water hydraulic plunger motor and an assembly method thereof. The assembly comprises a sliding shoe bottom (1), a sliding shoes pad (2), a sliding shoe (3), a plunger (4) and a nylon sleeve (5). The plunger (4) comprises a plunger body (4.2) and a plunger bulb (4.1), wherein the plunger body is processed by a stainless steel bar, the front end is stitched with an engineering plastic sleeve after heat treatment of the plunger body, and then the plunger bulb is processed as required. When assembled, the sliding shoe bottom (1) is pressed into an annular groove on the bottom of the sliding shoe (3) in a certain magnitude of interference, and the sliding shoe is closed up when the plunger bulb (4.1) is inserted into a ball socket of the sliding shoe (3). The plunger assembly has advantages of easy assembly, short processing period and low cost. An assembly frock is simple, which avoids damage onto the sliding shoe caused by overlarge of pressure and decentraction between the plunger and the sliding shoe, and a defective index is low.
