Influence of supporting electrolytes on protolytic properties of amines grafted to the silica surface and on complexation of these amines with copper(II)

The equilibria of protonation of amines immobilized on the silica surface via covalent bonds and complexation of these amines with copper(II) were studied. The stability constants of the complexes immobilized on the silica surface were studied as influenced by the composition of the supporting electrolytes and their concentration in the aqueous phase of the sorption system.
