The first ratiometric probe for lysine in water

Abstract The first ratiometric probe for lysine was presented. This coumarin-based probe could selectively detect Lys over other natural amino acids in water with a large red shift up to 83 nm, which utilized both the basicity and the nucleophilicity of the terminal amino group of Lys.
