Experimental Study on Filtration and Separation of Oil and Water Interlayer

2010
A film filtration and separation experiment was used to investigate the filtrate variation law of oil and water interlayer of certain oilfield under the condition of different flocculant proportion, temperature and pressure. The experiment results show that the influence to the interlayer filtration at dosage of 3%~6% of flocculant A solution is 3~4.5 times higher than that at the dosage of 6%~8%,the dosage of 6% of flocculant A is selected for the experiment, the dosage of flocculant B is 25~100 mg/L with low influence on the filtration rate.Temperature increase could decrease material viscosity greatly, which is beneficial for increasing filtration efficiency, and its variation as different temperatures is consistent with Gauss model. Increasing filtration pressure could improve filtration efficiency, when filtration pressure increased by 0.1 MPa,the filtrate could increase 5.5~12.5 ml within 30 minutes. Based on the optimum flocculant proportion, temperature and pressure from the above comprehensive experiments, oil recovery could be more than 94%.
