Broken Instrument Removal - A Case Report

Paper presents a technique for the removal of broken instruments in the root canal system. The technique involves a combination of hand instruments and engine driven instrument. Hand instruments are used to help bypass the broken instruments while engine driven instruments help in loosening or removal of the instruments from canal system. Advantages are of course conservative approach to save the tooth. Improves operator’s and patient confidence, avoid psychological trauma of surgical intervention.
