Continuous production process of p-Methyl benzoyl chloride

The invention relates to a continuous production process of p-Methyl benzoyl chloride and belongs to the technical field of fine chemical engineering. The continuous production process comprises the steps that p-Toluylic acid and sulfoxide chloride are added into a reaction kettle to perform reaction so as to obtain reaction liquid in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst, then the reaction liquid is added into a rectifying tower to undergo normal pressure rectification so as to recover the sulfoxide chloride in the reaction liquid, namely a p-Methyl benzoyl chloride crude product is obtained, and the p-Methyl benzoyl chloride crude product is added into a film evaporator to be subjected to reduced pressure distillation so as to obtain the p-Methyl benzoyl chloride. The existing problems of unstable product quality, low device automation degree and high labor intensity of a batch process are solved, the continuous production process has the advantages of being simple in process route, short in production cycle and high in product yield, and side reaction is also avoided while the production capacity is improved.
