miR-136 regulated apoptosis in gastric cell SGC7901 by suppressing PPP2R2A

Objective: To detect the effects and mechanisms of miR-136 on gastric cancer cell SGC7901. Methods: The proliferation and the apoptosis of SGC7901 cells after transfected with miR-136 inhibitor were detected by MTT assay and Annexin V-PI assay, respectively. Western blot and dual luciferase reporter gene were used to detect the target gene of miR-136. Results: Inhibition of miR-136 could inhibit the proliferation and induce apoptosis in SGC7901 cells. miR-136 could combine with 3'-UTR of PPP2R2A mRNA. Conclusion: Inhibition of miR-136 could induce PPP2R2A expression and apoptosis in SGC7901 cells. Keywords SGC7901 cells; miR-136; PPP2R2A; proliferation; apoptosis
