Method of manufacturing a grain-finished leather-like sheet

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a grained leather-like sheet which has a texture giving a sense of oneness and flexibility, has a high grade appearance free from the irregularity of gloss, and giving a sense of fulfillment similar to that of natural leather. SOLUTION: There is provided the method for producing the leather-like sheet, including coating and drying a liquid obtained by foaming an aqueous polyurethane dispersion into a one and half to fourfold volume on at least one side of a substrate layer comprising a fiber-interlaced nonwoven fabric arbitrarily impregnated with a polyurethane to form a foamed coating layer, and then integrally laminating a polyurethane nonwoven fabric to the foamed coating layer.
