Gambaran Tingkat pengetahuan dan Sikap Penderita Dermatomikosis di Puskesmas Bendosari Sukoharjo

Introduction : Dermatomycosis is a skin disease caused by a fungis. Dermatomycosis affects many people live in a tropical country, this is due to the high climate, dirty environment, ignorance and indifferent attitude of those who suffer from Dermatomycosis and this bring many contracted in the community or people surrounding them. Dermatomycosis requiring regular medication, as well as maintaining a good hygiene. Bendosari is a region with the highest rates of Dermatomycosis in the area of Sukoharjo. Research purpose: to find out the description of levels of knowledge and attitudes of the Dermatomycosis patients in the health centers of Bendosari Sukoharjo. Research Methods: This research applied descriptive method with cross sectional study design. The respondent participated were 58 people and were selected by using accidental sampling technique. The variables of this research were the level of knowledge and attitude. The analysis used in this research was Unvariat analysis. Research Results : The level of knowledge and attitude of patients with Dermatomycosis indicated that most of them were having good result, only few that showed adequate result. Conclusion: The level of knowledge and attitude of patients with Dermatomycosis showed that most of the patients were having good knowledge and attitude, whereas, few of them showed adequate knowledge and attitude. Public knowledge of Dermatomycosis is necessary due to the climate of Indonesia which is very humid and that of many people have less awareness on the good hygiene and proper medication that need to be taken correctly and regularly.
