Flexible NH3 gas sensor based on porous nanosheet-assembled ZnFe2O4/polyaniline yolk-shell microspheres

Porous nanosheet-assembled ZnFe 2 O 4 /polyaniline yolk-shell spheres are synthesized using a combination of solvothermal-thermal treatment and in situ chemical oxidation polymerization method. The as-prepared ZnFe 2 O 4 microspheres are composed of homogeneous primary ZnFe 2 O 4 nanosheets with uniform size and high porosity. Because of their large specific surface area and easily penetrable structures, the as-synthesized ZnFe 2 O 4 /polyaniline yolk-shell microspheres exhibit high sensitivity to ammonia and fast response-recovery capability at room temperature.
