Synthesis of silver manganese tri-vanadate AgMn2V3O10 and its Catalytic activity on the conversion of para-nitrophenol to para-aminophenol

2020
Abstract In this work, we deal with the catalytic activity on the conversion of para-nitrophenol (PNP) to para-aminophenol (PAP) using the synthesis silver, manganese-based tri-vanadate namely AgMn2V3O10 in the presence of sodium borohydride NaBH4. The catalyst was synthesis through the Pechini method; the obtained powder was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy. Rietveld refinement was accomplished into XRD data using Jana2006 software, the IR depict V3O10 groups and confirm the catalyst constitution. The morphology was investigated via scanning electron microscopy and shows a homogenous with micrometric particles sizes. Visible UV spectroscopy was used to follow the conversion of para-nitrophenol to para-aminophenol.
