The article presents two clinical cases of palliative treatment by renal artery embolization for renal cancer in patients of the Urology Department, Russian Research Center for Radiological and Surgical Technologies in September-October 2010, demonstrating the prospects of the of palliative treatments range expanding, applied to patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma and single kidney tumor.
